Linen Runner – Housekeeping

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Linen Runner to join the housekeeping team at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort in Ras Al Khaimah. The role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all linens, supporting daily operations and contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort, and transport linens throughout the resort in an organized and efficient manner.
• Inspect linens for quality, cleanliness, and damage before and after processing.
• Operate industrial laundry equipment safely according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report any shortages or discrepancies.
• Fold, press, and prepare linens for distribution to designated areas.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards while following safety protocols.
• Assist housekeeping team members with additional tasks as needed.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues promptly.

Required profile

• Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy loads regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and quality awareness.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Reliability and consistent punctuality.
• Basic understanding of laundry procedures and fabric care, with willingness to work flexible schedules.
