Logistics Executive – Courier Operations

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Logistics Executive to coordinate and manage both domestic and international courier shipments through DHL. The role involves booking shipments, handling documentation, tracking deliveries, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Create and process shipment bookings using DHL platforms, schedule pickups, and select appropriate services based on urgency, destination, weight, and cost.
• Prepare and review shipping documents such as Air Waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
• Monitor shipments from pickup to delivery, resolve delays or exceptions, and provide status updates to customers and internal teams.
• Liaise with DHL representatives on bookings, service issues, claims, and performance.
• Support customs compliance by verifying restricted items and assisting with clearance when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of courier expenses, verify invoices, and contribute to cost‑saving initiatives.
• Update ERP or logistics systems with shipment and tracking information and handle issue resolution for lost or damaged packages.

Required profile

• Experience in DHL courier operations, freight forwarding, logistics coordination, or shipping documentation.
• Understanding of international shipping procedures and customs documentation.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Currently based in the UAE and able to join immediately or with short notice.
