Loss Adjuster – Commercial Lines

About the role

The Loss Adjuster will manage commercial line claims from initial survey through settlement, ensuring accurate assessments, timely reporting, and high‑quality service for clients across the UAE and GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and survey property damage and conduct risk inspections.
• Analyse complex information from multiple sources and determine claim liability.
• Prepare and deliver preliminary and final reports (ILA, LOR, policy reports) within agreed turn‑around times.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, contractors, and insurers.
• Investigate potentially fraudulent claims and handle related documentation.
• Monitor claim progress, manage costs, salvage, and contractor quotations.
• Provide clear explanations to policyholders regarding coverage decisions.
• Handle claim‑related complaints and ensure compliance with legal and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant insurance qualifications.
• Minimum 5 years experience in general insurance claim adjustment.
• Proven experience in physical inspections, technical reporting, and negotiation.
• Strong knowledge of insurance policy coverage, underwriting guidelines, and reinsurance terms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
