Loss Prevention Specialist - Retail

About the role

Al Tayer Insignia is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Loss Prevention Specialist to support its retail operations across the UAE and GCC. The role helps minimize shrinkage, protect company assets and drive a culture of compliance and accountability across stores. It suits someone with 2-3 years of experience in retail or hospitality loss prevention, strong analytical skills and the ability to build partnerships with store teams while conducting investigations, audits and risk assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular store audits, compliance reviews and self-assessment evaluations.
• Investigate incidents related to inventory losses, cash shortages, theft, fraud and policy violations.
• Review CCTV footage to identify risks, suspicious activity and operational gaps.
• Monitor shrinkage trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare accurate reports and dashboards in Microsoft Excel.
• Perform store visits to check compliance with policies, security controls and procedures.
• Support investigations from initial reporting through closure and corrective action.
• Train store teams on loss prevention, stock control, cash handling and security awareness.
• Work with Store Managers, Operations, Inventory Control, Finance and Security teams.
• Ensure CCTV, EAS and alarm systems operate effectively, and liaise with security providers, mall management and authorities when needed.

Required profile

• 2-3 years of experience in loss prevention, asset protection, retail security, store compliance or investigation roles.
• Retail or hospitality experience with multi-site operations in the UAE or GCC.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; fluency in English; valid UAE driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and travel across stores when required.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis and reporting).
• Experience conducting investigations and writing findings reports.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
