Manager - Crewing

About the role

The Manager – Crewing will lead crewing operations across the Maritime Cluster, ensuring crew deployment is efficient, compliant and aligned with operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day crewing activities, including crew planning, rotations and vessel assignments.
• Supervise recruitment, onboarding and mobilisation of seafarers, maintaining accurate documentation and certifications.
• Monitor crew performance, attendance and welfare, addressing grievances and disciplinary matters.
• Collaborate with Operations, Fleet, HR and external partners to ensure seamless crewing execution.
• Track crewing costs and identify opportunities for cost optimisation while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, Logistics or related field (Master’s degree advantageous).
• 8‑9 years of experience managing end‑to‑end crewing operations with strong knowledge of maritime labour laws.
• Proven ability to lead a team, set objectives and monitor KPIs.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with crewing management systems.
