Manager, KYC & Onboarding - Government (Emiratised Role)

About the role

We are seeking a Manager to lead KYC and onboarding processes for government clients at First Abu Dhabi Bank. The role involves overseeing new client onboarding, periodic reviews, and ensuring compliance with UAE and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end KYC and onboarding for new government clients, ensuring timelines are met.
• Conduct name screening, due‑diligence, and adverse media checks on all related parties.
• Liaise with clients, internal stakeholders, and compliance teams to gather required KYC information.
• Review AML/KYC forms, sanctions questionnaires and perform due diligence on third‑party service providers.
• Maintain data in the Alpha system and monitor key performance indicators and risk metrics.
• Stay updated on UAE Central Bank regulations and international compliance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Banking, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a reputable international bank within KYC, onboarding or compliance.
• Strong knowledge of AML/KYC regulations, client structures and financial institution requirements.
• Experience operating in a global regulatory environment.
• Proactive, business‑oriented with ability to prioritize conflicting demands.
• Preferably holds a certification in Compliance, KYC/AML/CFT or Risk Management.
