Manager Special Airport Systems

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Special Airport Systems to lead operational performance, maintenance and lifecycle management of critical airport systems in a 24/7 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and performance of specialist airport systems such as Passenger Boarding Bridges, Visual Docking Guidance Systems, Ground Power Units and Pre‑Conditioned Air systems.
• Manage specialist contractors, service delivery, KPIs, SLAs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive asset reliability, lifecycle planning, maintenance optimisation and continuous improvement.
• Lead technical investigations, maintenance audits, risk management and business continuity planning.
• Oversee asset performance reporting and analytics using IBM Maximo and Power BI.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics or related engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.
• Strong experience with specialist airport systems and contractor performance management.
• Experience in aviation, airports or other critical 24/7 operational environments is highly desirable.
• Valid UAE driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in IBM Maximo/CMMS.
• Proficiency in Power BI.
