Managing Director – Employer of Record Business Unit

About the role

Mercans is seeking a Managing Director to lead and scale its Employer of Record (EOR) Business Unit globally. You will own the P&L, set strategy, build the go‑to‑market engine and shape the operating model, reporting directly to the Group CEO.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end P&L responsibility, driving revenue growth, margin improvement and scalable operations.
• Define and execute a multi‑year growth plan, including market expansion, new‑logo acquisition and cross‑selling across EOR, global mobility, BPO and HR advisory services.
• Lead the enterprise sales organization, strategic partnerships, pricing models and demand‑generation to build a repeatable go‑to‑market engine.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to align technology road‑maps with market needs and commercial opportunities.
• Build and scale the operating model, ensuring compliance, service quality and efficient delivery across new markets.

Required profile

• 15+ years of senior general‑management or operations leadership experience, with a proven record of scaling a P&L through high‑growth phases.
• Demonstrated experience in building and leading enterprise/B2B sales teams and owning bookings and pipeline.
• Deep knowledge of EOR, global mobility, BPO or HR advisory services in an international context.
• Strategic mindset with ability to assess market trends, competitive landscape and translate them into actionable plans.
