Managing Director - Power & Renewables

About the role

Willis Towers Watson is looking for a Managing Director for its Power & Renewables practice. The role drives global client growth and business development across the insurance and risk management spectrum, acting as Strategic Client Director for selected global priority clients and positioning the firm as the premier risk advisor for the global energy transition.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global client growth strategy for the Power & Renewable Energy sector, across construction and operational phases
• Identify, originate and convert new business opportunities across the full insurance and risk management spectrum
• Build and maintain senior executive relationships with utility companies, independent power producers, renewable energy developers, infrastructure and investment funds, OEMs and technology providers, and energy transition stakeholders
• Drive revenue growth and market share expansion without geographical revenue constraints, focusing on the growth of Willis' global franchise
• Act as Strategic Client Director for selected global priority clients, leading coordinated global client strategies and creating executive engagement plans
• Develop a differentiated Willis value proposition for the sector, champion thought leadership and collaborate with regional and global teams
• Partner with the Global Power & Renewable Energy Leader on the long-term global growth strategy and support recruitment of strategic talent
