Marketing Assistant

About the role

The QE2 hotel is seeking a proactive Marketing Assistant to support its hospitality brand across administration, social media, financial, guest service and communications functions. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and various internal teams to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate supplier quotations and purchase requisitions for print collateral.
• Collect press clippings, maintain a press archive and manage media, supplier and event databases.
• Maintain the hotel photo library and ensure accurate manual and electronic filing systems.
• Respond to queries on social media, support content creation, track weekly performance and maintain an influencer database.
• Follow up supplier payments and assist in preparing and monitoring the department’s budget.
• Communicate media or VIP stays and special requirements to relevant departments.
• Assist in developing PR and advertising strategies, liaise with agencies or in‑house designers, and support photo‑shoot organisation.
• Track competitor marketing activities and food & beverage trends in the UAE market.
• Prepare press kits, releases, and maintain relationships with local and overseas media contacts.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and coordination abilities.
• Attention to detail in managing databases, filing systems and financial records.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies.
• Interest in hospitality marketing and media relations.
