Material Inspector for Infrastructure Projects

About the role

The Material Inspector will ensure that all construction materials delivered to the site meet RTA specifications, approved submittals, and contract requirements. This role involves close coordination with the Material Engineer and Site Engineer to guarantee quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and verify all construction materials against RTA specifications, approved submittals, and contract requirements.
• Check material source approvals, delivery notes, batch certificates, and test reports before acceptance.
• Carry out sampling and witness laboratory and field tests for soil, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, steel, and other civil materials as per approved ITPs.
• Monitor storage, handling, and protection of materials to prevent contamination, segregation, or damage.
• Review and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) related to materials and civil works.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant diploma.
• Minimum 5 years of material inspection experience in the UAE.
• RTA or Dubai Municipality (DM) approval holder is mandatory.
• Proven ability to maintain accurate inspection records, test results, and material logs.
