Material Planner – Aerospace Manufacturing

About the role

The Material Planner will support production by ensuring the right components are available at the right time for aerospace and manufacturing operations in Abu Dhabi. You will work closely with engineering, production, and supply‑chain teams to translate design data into actionable material plans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material plans using SAP and MRP/ERP systems.
• Interpret CAD models and engineering drawings to identify required parts and quantities.
• Manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and coordinate inventory levels to meet production schedules.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve material shortages and forecast demand.
• Monitor and report on inventory performance, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in materials or production planning, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with SAP.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, including overtime when required.
