Mathematics Teacher for Secondary Grades

About the role

International Community Schools is seeking an inspirational Mathematics Teacher for its Al Mushrif campus. The role involves delivering high‑quality mathematics instruction to secondary students (Grades 9‑12) in line with ADEK standards and international curricula.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or a related quantitative field, with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 2‑3 years of full‑time post‑qualification teaching experience at secondary level, preferably preparing students for IGCSE, A‑Levels, AP or IB examinations.
• Attested academic qualifications, MOE equivalency, eligibility for an ADEK Teacher License, and clear criminal record checks.
• Experience in an international school setting with a diverse student body is highly advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with educational technology such as graphing calculators, interactive whiteboards, and virtual learning environments (Canvas, Google Classroom).
• Strong analytical abilities for student assessment, data tracking and differentiated instruction.
• Excellent classroom management and the ability to design engaging, inquiry‑based mathematics lessons.
• Familiarity with American Common Core, AP, and IB Mathematics curricula.
