Mechanical Estimation Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Estimation Engineer will join Al Rostamani Group’s MEP team in Dubai, supporting the preparation of accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities for HVAC, plumbing and fire‑fighting works across residential, commercial, fit‑out and industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings and standards to define the scope of HVAC, plumbing and fire‑fighting works.
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities for materials, labour, plant and equipment.
• Develop cost estimates for mechanical MEP packages and submit them for review.
• Coordinate with the Estimation Manager, other engineers and the supply‑chain team to obtain supplier offers and clarify scope details.
• Assist in bid submission preparation and ensure documentation is complete.
• Collaborate with the ESCO team to integrate energy‑saving measures into material and resource lists.

Required profile

Required skills

• Proficiency in reviewing HVAC, plumbing and fire‑fighting drawings.
• Experience preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for mechanical works.
• Strong cost estimation skills for MEP projects.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and specifications.
• Ability to coordinate with supply‑chain and engineering teams.
