Mechanical QC Inspector – Rotating/Static Equipment

About the role

Archirodon is seeking a Mechanical QC Inspector to join its Quality team within the Oil, Gas and Chemicals Division. The role focuses on quality control of rotating and static equipment on EPC projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Mechanical QC Engineer by implementing quality control procedures for rotating and static equipment works.
• Review technical specifications, drawings and BOQ to identify inspection requirements.
• Conduct site receiving inspections, fit‑up inspections and final dimensional verification before installation and welding.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test records and quality documentation.
• Attend client inspections, prepare punch lists and follow up on non‑conformances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a QC inspector for rotating/static equipment in oil and gas projects.
• Hands‑on experience with piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, valves and associated mechanical systems.

Required skills

• Inspection of piping, static equipment, rotating equipment and valves.
• Preparation of inspection reports and punch lists.
• Calibration and use of measuring and testing instruments.
