About the role
The Proposals Engineer will analyze tender documents, prepare bid packages, evaluate bids and ensure seamless transition from proposal to project execution within the marine and dredging sector.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze tender documents to understand technical and commercial requirements.
- Prepare invitation to bid packages for suppliers and subcontractors.
- Evaluate bids both technically and commercially and compile bid tabulations.
- Attend client meetings with the Manager to address commercial and technical queries.
- Prepare synopsis of tender requirements, including payment terms, insurance, warranties and bonds.
- Coordinate with legal advisors to ensure compliance.
- Collate and prepare technical and commercial proposals aligned with client specifications.
- Submit proposals for internal review before client submission.
- Prepare post‑award documents for handover to project teams.
- Ensure all activities comply with HSE standards and company policies.
