Mechanical Technician

About the role

The Mechanical Technician will ensure the reliable operation of plant machinery through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective actions. Working on‑site in Dubai, you will follow HSE guidelines and company procedures to keep equipment running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily mechanical maintenance and preventive tasks according to NOMAC schedules.
• Monitor machine condition, report non‑conformances, and assist the Mechanical Engineer in corrective planning.
• Diagnose mechanical failures, replace defective parts, and carry out overhauls and installations.
• Inspect equipment for corrosion, leaks, cracks, and other defects, and execute necessary repairs.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, mechanical diagrams, and machinery drawings to guide maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Technical certificate or Associate’s Diploma in Mechanical Maintenance.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in mechanical maintenance, installation, and repair in a plant environment.
• Strong awareness of HSE and quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate findings clearly.
