About the role
The Medical Practitioner works under the supervision of Consultant or Specialist Physicians to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based patient care in Al Rahba Hospital, Abu Dhabi.
Key responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose and treat patients under senior physician consent.
- Participate in daily ward rounds, reassess in‑patients and out‑patients.
- Organise and follow up diagnostic tests, record results and modify treatment plans with approval.
- Document clinical information promptly and accurately.
- Supervise and support interns as directed.
- Provide on‑call coverage on a rotational basis, including evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.
Required profile
- For non‑UAE nationals: minimum 2 years relevant experience post‑internship.
- UAE nationals or graduates of UAE medical schools: no additional experience required after internship.
- Successful completion of internship; HAAD‑accredited residency program graduates exempt from extra experience.
