Medical Representative – Pharmaceutical Sales

About the role

MetroMed is looking for a motivated Medical Representative to promote its pharmaceutical portfolio across the Abu Dhabi and Al Ain private markets. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with physicians, hospitals and clinics, raising product awareness and driving prescription volume.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute call plans, delivering effective sales calls to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide accurate, company‑approved product information and conduct market research, physician focus groups and patient profiling.
• Raise product and company awareness by engaging thought‑leaders and monitoring competitor activities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of physician contacts, calls, orders and follow‑up actions.
• Manage product usage data per account, handle ordering and ensure product availability.
• Generate new business by establishing new accounts and servicing existing ones, planning daily schedules to maximise coverage.
• Submit activity reports, weekly work plans and monthly territory analyses to management.
• Recommend product, service or policy adjustments based on market feedback and competitive developments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales, preferably within the UAE market.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence healthcare professionals.
• Self‑driven, organized and capable of managing a territory independently.
• Ability to analyse market data, monitor competition and propose actionable improvements.
