MEP Draftsman – Electrical & Mechanical

About the role

We are seeking experienced Electrical and Mechanical Draftsmen to join our on‑site team in Dubai. You will create detailed shop and as‑built drawings for MEP systems and ensure they meet project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop and as‑built drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Interpret design specifications, tender drawings and project requirements provided by engineers and consultants.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers and other disciplines to avoid clashes and ensure design accuracy.
• Revise drawings based on design changes, site conditions and consultant feedback, maintaining organized documentation.
• Assist in quantity take‑offs and material submittals when required.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of MEP drafting experience in the UAE.
• Proficient in creating precise electrical and mechanical engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes and authority standards (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, ADDC, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience on high‑end luxury villas, penthouses, upscale restaurants and commercial projects.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Revit/BIM (advantageous)
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and codes
