MFL French Teacher (Primary)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Modern Foreign Language (French) Teacher to join its growing network of schools in the United Arab Emirates, starting in August 2027. The role involves delivering engaging French lessons and supporting the holistic development of students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned French lessons that inspire and motivate students.
• Assess student progress using Target Tracker and provide feedback to parents and carers.
• Collaborate with colleagues, including special‑needs professionals, to adapt learning environments.
• Maintain classroom discipline in line with the school’s behaviour policy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is not the first language.
• Clean enhanced DBS/police check.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the French curriculum and ability to organise classroom resources.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
