Mini Bar Supervisor

About the role

Kempinski is hiring a Mini Bar Supervisor in Dubai for its hotel, in the food and beverage sector. The role covers serving food and beverages to guests in the assigned rooms and suites, providing courteous, professional and efficient service that encourages sales and maximises guest satisfaction. The position reports to the Assistant Room Service Manager and Room Service Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Serve all mini-bars in hotel rooms and suites, and provide regular checks of expiry dates and product quality and appearance.
• Stock take mini-bar items and post correct accounting of items and consumption in the guest folio.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, monitor operating supplies and equipment and reduce spoilage and wastage.
• Keep the workplace and surrounding area clean and organised, and assist in scheduled inventories of products and equipment.
• Upsell items and offer alternatives, and handle guest enquiries while reporting complaints and feedback to supervisors and following up with guests.
• Operate the POS system according to the assigned training level and communicate between the Room Service team and guest relations.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings, adhere to hotel policies on fire, hygiene, health and safety, and carry out other reasonable duties assigned by the Department Head.

Required profile

• 2-4 years of experience in an F&B service role is preferable.
• Ability to work as part of a team, with a proactive, customer-driven and adaptable approach.
• Professional, confidential and ethical conduct, working safely and prudently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel and Word is beneficial.

The salary is listed as AED 2,750 per month.
