Mobile Quality Control Specialist

About the role

Universal Telecom FZCO is seeking a detail‑oriented Mobile Quality Control Specialist to join its Dubai team. You will be responsible for inspecting and testing incoming mobile devices to ensure they meet the company’s quality standards before they are sold or dispatched.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and test mobile phones for cosmetic defects such as scratches, dents, and cracks.
• Verify functionality of screen, touch, camera, speaker, microphone, charging port, buttons, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and network connectivity.
• Assess battery health, overall device condition, and confirm model, storage, color, IMEI and other specifications.
• Identify faulty devices, grade them according to quality standards, and separate them by condition.
• Maintain accurate records of inspected devices and ensure only compliant units are dispatched.
• Collaborate with Warehouse and Sales teams to resolve quality‑related issues.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Mobile QC, Mobile Testing, Quality Control or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of smartphones, especially iPhone, and ability to spot hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with mobile phone testing procedures and quality grading.
• Basic understanding of IMEI and device specifications.
• Experience working in the UAE is an advantage.
