About the role

GEMS Education is seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join its School of Research and Innovation in the United Arab Emirates. The role begins in August and focuses on delivering a research‑informed curriculum that nurtures creativity, technical ability and a lifelong love of music.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging music lessons for Pre‑Prep, Prep and secondary students.
• Facilitate performance, composition and music technology projects using specialist facilities.
• Integrate interdisciplinary and inquiry‑based learning approaches across the curriculum.
• Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to enrich the music programme.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of teaching experience in music education.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire students and foster cultural awareness.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
