National Sales Manager

About the role

Biocon is seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to lead its commercial and sales strategy across the UAE. The role focuses on driving business growth, market penetration, product launches and key account development within the pharmaceutical sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual UAE sales strategy and business plan, delivering primary and secondary sales targets.
• Lead, coach and develop the UAE sales team, establishing clear objectives, KPIs and performance reviews.
• Manage new product launches, formulary access, tender participation and portfolio expansion.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with hospitals, distributors, procurement bodies and key decision‑makers.
• Monitor sales performance, forecast demand, optimise territory coverage and ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical commercial experience, including at least 3 years in a sales leadership or country management role.
• Proven experience in biosimilars commercialisation and B2B pharmaceutical business within the UAE.
• Demonstrated success in product launches, institutional business, tenders and market access.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine, Life Sciences, Business Administration or related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
