Network Operations Controller

About the role

Provide regulatory oversight and coordination for foreign aircraft operating approvals across the Etihad Airways fleet, ensuring compliance with aviation authority requirements and supporting operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with local and international regulatory authorities on FAOP/FAOC/DG/LVO applications and renewals.
• Continuously review international regulator standards to maintain compliance.
• Manage approvals for ACMI operations, working closely with lessors to secure required documentation.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date permissions database for all aircraft authorisations.
• Support charter flying review processes and coordinate contracted charter operations.
• Coordinate ad‑hoc aircraft events such as fly‑pasts and static displays.
• Work with the technical department on the EIS program for newly delivered aircraft to ensure smooth operational hand‑over.
• Assist the Manager Operations Planning in readiness coordination for new station start‑ups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in the airline industry.
• Project management experience is an advantage.
