Nuclear Medicine Specialist (Locum)

About the role

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi is recruiting one locum Specialist Nuclear Medicine consultant. The role centres on providing patient-centred, evidence-based consultant-level care while complying with the hospital's ethical and professional standards and those of regulatory authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, professional and ethical clinical services to patients in an effective and efficient way
• Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Promote continuous professional development of self and colleagues
• Carry out clinical services ethically and responsibly

Required profile

• Basic medical degree and a recognised specialty qualification (fellowship or diploma)
• Certification and registration in a specialty recognised by the UAE healthcare authority
• Active and valid life support certification (e.g. BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP)
• At least 3-5 years of post-qualification specialist experience; 1 year of specialist experience from a Tier 1 country is desired
