Officer, Quality and Patient Safety

About the role

The Officer, Quality and Patient Safety supports the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centered care at Healthpoint by implementing quality, safety and regulatory initiatives. Working closely with the Quality and Patient Safety Manager and clinical teams, the role monitors performance, drives improvement projects and ensures compliance with accreditation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute actively to quality improvement and patient safety programs to meet organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with UAE DOH, DHA, Joint Commission International and other regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop performance measurement processes and action plans.
• Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities and support evidence‑based decision‑making.
• Promote a culture of safety through training, education and proactive risk‑management initiatives.
• Lead PSDA improvement projects across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare quality and patient safety, preferably in Joint Commission International‑accredited facilities.
• Certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or equivalent, or willingness to obtain within 12 months of hire.
