Oncology Pharmacist

About the role

A leading JCI-accredited hospital in the UAE is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist with oncology expertise. The pharmacist ensures safe and effective chemotherapy preparation, dispensing and patient counselling in line with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review oncology prescriptions and verify chemotherapy protocols.
• Prepare and dispense cytotoxic medications safely.
• Provide clinical support and drug information to physicians and nurses.
• Monitor patient therapy and manage adverse drug reactions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital and UAE regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from a recognised institution.
• Valid DHA/MOH evaluation or license.
• At least 2 years' experience in oncology pharmacy; hospital setting preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of chemotherapy protocols and clinical pharmacy practice.
• Oncology pharmacotherapy, cytotoxic handling, clinical decision-making, patient counselling and teamwork.
