Operations Manager – Food Manufacturing

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead all manufacturing, packing, quality, maintenance, safety and facility functions of a food production plant in Dubai. The role ensures production targets are met while upholding the highest standards of food safety, quality and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily, weekly and monthly production schedules to meet demand forecasts.
• Monitor production output, efficiency, KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee quality control procedures, handle customer complaints and lead internal and external audits.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for equipment, utilities and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and food‑safety regulations.
• Set departmental objectives, mentor managers and supervisors, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Sales and Supply Chain to align production priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing operations in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive performance.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and focus on cost control.
