Order Desk Executive

About the role

The Order Desk Executive ensures customer satisfaction by managing the end‑to‑end order process. Acting as the main liaison between customers and internal teams, the role guarantees accurate order entry, delivery coordination and proactive communication.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, validate and issue customer quotations in line with pricing and commercial policies.
• Process orders in SAP, confirming PO details, pricing, quantities and delivery requirements.
• Manage the full order lifecycle from quotation through release, delivery, invoicing and closure.
• Monitor order availability, back‑orders and delivery dates, coordinating with plants, warehouses, demand planning and logistics.
• Communicate risks and alternatives early to customers and sales teams.
• Ensure commercial and financial conditions such as credit, payment terms and LCs are met before order release.
• Support monthly sales closing by tracking order releases, deliveries and invoicing status.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field; MBA a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic advantageous.
• 5‑7 years experience in order management, customer service or sales operations.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, in a multinational environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP order processing.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems for order management.
