OT Cybersecurity Field Engineer

About the role

WireSecure is a specialist OT/ICS cybersecurity company focused on protecting critical infrastructure while maintaining safety and operational continuity. We are seeking a field‑oriented engineer to translate cybersecurity gaps into practical, implementable controls on customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site surveys to assess existing infrastructure and identify connectivity and integration requirements.
• Prepare detailed survey findings and coordinate directly with engineering and technical teams at customer locations.
• Act as a bridge between the solutions team and delivery team to design, build and execute complex project assignments.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in a network, systems or cybersecurity role, preferably within power utility or substation environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Science with UAE equivalency.

Required skills

• Strong networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, switching, routing, VLANs and firewalls.
• Foundational understanding of OT/industrial cybersecurity concepts and security vendor solutions.
• Knowledge of electrical substation infrastructure such as SCMS, RTUs and IEDs.
• Familiarity with security vendors and related OT device ecosystems.
