Outlet Cashier – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Outlet Cashier is responsible for managing all cash transactions at the hotel’s restaurant and bar outlets. You will ensure accurate cash handling, reconcile daily receipts, and provide excellent service to guests throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cashiering functions at restaurant and bar outlets, handling cash, checks, and POS transactions.
• Reconcile daily cash receipts, investigate discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain the cashier’s house fund and enforce hotel credit policies.
• Prepare and submit cashier’s remittance reports and deposit cash to the designated drop box.
• Assist guests with payment inquiries, resolve billing issues, and provide receipts.
• Collaborate with front office and accounting to resolve payment discrepancies and support audits.

Required profile

• Proficient in processing cash transactions accurately, including making change and balancing drawers.
• Ability to detect counterfeit currency and verify checks and credit‑card transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow hotel financial policies and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent customer service skills, handling guest inquiries courteously.
