Paymaster General Cashier

About the role

SO/ Hotels & Resorts is hiring a Paymaster General Cashier in Dubai on a full-time basis. The role covers payroll processing, reporting and compliance, working closely with the HR department and keeping payroll data confidential.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate and process employee salaries, wages, bonuses, deductions and overtime in line with company policy and law.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management, including year-end reports and tax forms.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws, tax regulations and company policies.
• Manage deductions of taxes, social security, pensions and other benefits.
• Answer employee questions about payroll promptly and accurately.
• Work with HR to keep time and attendance records accurate and integrated into the payroll system.
• Process payroll adjustments such as retroactive pay, bonuses and corrections.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and support internal and external audits.
• Keep strict confidentiality on employee compensation data.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing or accounting, preferably in hospitality or the service industry.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and organisational skills, and good written and verbal communication.
• Integrity and professionalism with sensitive data.
