People & Culture Specialist

About the role

Philip Morris Management Services (Middle East) Ltd, an affiliate of Philip Morris International, is looking for a People & Culture Specialist to join its People & Culture team, reporting to the Process & Experience Delivery Manager. You will manage end-to-end HR operations and compliance across several Middle East markets, ensuring efficient and accurate processes that create a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the employee lifecycle and work closely with other P&C and business stakeholders
• Coordinate payroll activities and resolve employee payroll queries accurately and on time, together with Central Hubs and vendors
• Manage benefits, pensions, gratuity and end-of-service processes
• Manage onboarding and employee mobility within Middle East markets
• Support audits, document checks and HR records, and ensure compliance with labor, immigration, payroll and benefits requirements
• Handle sensitive employee matters with discretion and sound judgment, involving the right stakeholders when needed
• Improve, standardize and document HR operations processes across markets, and roll out local and global People & Culture initiatives

Required profile

• Currently based in the UAE; no relocation support available
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 3-5 years' experience, preferably in a multinational FMCG company in HR areas such as HR operations, shared services, process outsourcing and business partnership
• Experience in analytics, talent, learning, performance and continuous improvement is an additional asset
• Experience working with diverse, multi-market teams

Required skills

• Proficiency in the M365 package, HR systems, AI tools and case-management platforms
• Quick learner with strong attention to detail, prioritization and problem-solving skills
• Clear, empathetic communicator comfortable engaging at all levels
