People Development Manager

About the role

The People Development Manager will shape how colleagues at Delano Dubai learn, grow and experience the brand from the inside. Working closely with People & Culture and hotel leaders, you will design and deliver engaging learning experiences that support onboarding, leadership development, service culture and career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Own the hotel’s learning and development plan, aligning people priorities with business needs.
• Create and facilitate engaging learning experiences across service, behavioural and leadership topics.
• Design a memorable onboarding journey that immerses new joiners in Delano’s culture and story.
• Develop departmental trainers and champions to sustain learning within teams.
• Partner with leaders to identify talent, support internal mobility and succession planning.
• Stay present on the hotel floor to understand operational challenges and apply learning solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in people development, learning & development or talent development, preferably in luxury or lifestyle hospitality.
• Confident facilitation style with the ability to engage audiences at all levels.
• Proven track record creating and delivering onboarding and development programmes.
• Good understanding of hotel operations and fast‑paced hospitality environments.
• Creative, curious and able to turn ideas into actionable learning solutions.
