About the role
The resort seeks a motivated Personal Trainer to assess guests’ fitness levels, design customized exercise programs, and deliver high‑quality fitness counseling in a luxury hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assess guests’ fitness levels and design personalized exercise programs.
- Provide fitness counseling and demonstrate correct use of gym equipment.
- Register, schedule, and supervise recreation activities for guests.
- Monitor equipment condition, report maintenance needs, and ensure a safe environment.
- Maintain supplies such as cups and water, and promote a fun, relaxing atmosphere.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling and motivate staff as a role model.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal training or related fitness roles.
- Ability to work extended periods standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 10 lb.
- Professional appearance and ability to communicate clearly with guests.
