Personnel Visa Officer

About the role

Stena Drilling is looking for a Personnel Visa Officer on a full-time basis. The role manages visa and work permit applications for personnel joining offshore installations, liaising with immigration authorities worldwide and keeping immigration records accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Manage visa and work permit applications with immigration authorities worldwide
• Track expiry dates and plan renewals and future immigration requirements
• Ensure joining personnel receive accurate visa documents and joining instructions
• Prepare invitation letters, supporting documentation and visa appointment guidance
• Coordinate travel arrangements for visa appointments where required
• Verify visa-related expenses and prepare payroll reporting by established deadlines
• Maintain accurate visa, immigration and passport records in company systems and databases
• Liaise with HR teams, offshore personnel and management on visa requirements, timelines and application status
• Support continuous improvement of visa administration processes and technologies

Required profile

• Ideal candidates have previous experience in visa, immigration, global mobility or personnel administration
• Experience managing immigration processes, work permits and global travel documentation is advantageous
• Knowledge of UK and international immigration requirements is advantageous
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Proactive approach to forward planning and problem solving, able to work independently
