Physiotherapy Faculty (English & Arabic)

About the role

The American University in the Emirates seeks a qualified Physiotherapy faculty member to join its College of Health Sciences for the 2025‑2026 academic year. The position involves teaching in English and Arabic, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting student advising and research activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 12 credit hours per semester across undergraduate and graduate courses.
• Design, review, and update curricula to reflect current physiotherapy practice and research.
• Assess student performance, provide clear grading criteria, and offer academic advising.
• Participate in departmental committees, administrative duties, and community service initiatives.
• Maintain an active research agenda, publish in Scopus‑indexed journals, and collaborate with colleagues.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Physiotherapy or a closely related field from an internationally accredited university.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience at an internationally accredited university.
• Minimum of three peer‑reviewed publications in the last five years, with at least two Scopus‑indexed papers.
• Completion of 18 graduate credit hours in the relevant discipline.
