Picker – Retail Order Fulfillment

About the role

The Picker is responsible for assembling customer orders in a fast‑moving retail environment. You will work in the put‑away and selling areas, ensuring each item is correctly scanned, checked for expiry, and packed according to company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Pick items by scanning each SKU from shelves and put‑away locations.
• Perform quality‑control checks, including expiry‑date verification.
• Confirm out‑of‑stock (OOS) situations with the responsible section.
• Provide feedback to colleagues when incorrect items are selected or quality issues arise.
• Maintain an organized put‑away area, moving unused trolleys and crates to storage.
• Report anomalies such as wrong product images, locations, or system issues to the line manager.
• Ensure all put‑away locations and crates have scannable barcodes.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience, preferably in e‑commerce or retail operations.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Understanding of quality‑control procedures and retail product handling.
