Planner – Retail Planning & Merchandising

About the role

The Planner will support the Senior Planner and Planning Manager in analysing sales, margin and inventory data across the region. You will work closely with buying and store teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time, maximising retail profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse multi‑dimensional plans covering sales trends, gross margin and inventory.
• Control delivery, allocation and replenishment activities in line with range plans.
• Monitor line and product category performance through store transfers, replenishment and sell‑through metrics.
• Manage seasonal clear‑ances and markdowns to meet margin expectations.
• Produce weekly sales, stock and intake summaries and flag risks to senior management.
• Track customer profiles, trends and preferences to inform product and stock decisions.
• Maintain strong inter‑departmental relationships for information sharing.
• Monitor warehouse service levels and coordinate with logistics for timely stock transfers.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in business, finance or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in a Planner role within a retail environment.
• Excellent to fluent English communication skills.
