Plant Engineer - Concrete Manufacturing

About the role

Careers International is looking for a skilled Plant Engineer to join its concrete manufacturing team in Dubai. The role covers equipment maintenance, process optimization and regulatory compliance within an industrial plant setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs for mixers, conveyors and batch plants
• Troubleshoot plant equipment issues and lead corrective actions to minimize downtime
• Optimize production processes for energy efficiency and cost savings
• Monitor KPIs and production data to identify areas for continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations
• Lead plant improvement projects and equipment upgrades
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and report to the Plant Manager

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or a related engineering field
• Proven experience in a concrete manufacturing or similar heavy industrial environment
• Familiarity with UAE health, safety and environmental standards
• Effective communicator with strong analytical and leadership skills
