Plant Supervisor (Readymix Plant)

About the role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Plant Maintenance Supervisor will lead daily preventive and predictive maintenance activities for a ready‑mix concrete plant. The role focuses on maximizing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and ensuring a safe working environment in line with corporate HSE policies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise execution of preventive, predictive and periodic maintenance plans and lead troubleshooting during breakdowns.
• Coordinate on‑site activities during plant shutdowns, major equipment replacements and engineering upgrades.
• Monitor critical spare‑parts inventory, prepare technical requisitions and control usage, storage and calibration of tools.
• Assign manpower across shifts, draft scopes of work for external contractors and oversee their performance and acceptance testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a maintenance engineer or supervisor in heavy manufacturing, preferably ready‑mix concrete.
• Fluent English; Arabic or Hindi a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Strong background in industrial refrigeration and control/instrumentation systems.
• Proven experience with CMMS/ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies and Lean Manufacturing principles.
