Post-Doctoral Associate, Epidemiology/Public Health

About the role

The Public Health Research Center (PHRC) at New York University Abu Dhabi is hiring two Post-Doctoral Associates in Epidemiology/Public Health to work with the UAE Healthy Future Study, a cohort of more than 15,000 Emirati nationals studying the lifestyle, behavioral and clinical determinants of chronic and complex diseases. The successful candidate will lead and contribute to a large-scale epidemiological analysis focused on chronic disease risk factors and health outcomes.

Required profile

• PhD in epidemiology, public health, biostatistics, population health or a related field, with no more than five years since receiving the degree.
• Proven record of scientific publications.
• Demonstrable experience analyzing large-scale epidemiological or population-based datasets.

Required skills

• Experience with longitudinal data analysis and statistical modeling in Stata, SPSS, R, Python or similar statistical software is highly desirable.
