Pre Delivery Inspection Manager

About the role

The Pre Delivery Inspection Manager oversees all Pre‑Delivery Inspection (PDI) activities for Al‑Futtaim Automotive, ensuring vehicles and accessories are processed efficiently, on time, and cost‑effectively while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and implement a multibrand PDI strategy focused on productivity, customer‑oriented processes and cost efficiency.
• Adopt Lean Production and Kaizen methodologies to optimise takt time, reduce waste and manage inventory levels.
• Lead the creation of a PDI competence centre to maximise customer satisfaction and minimise expenses.
• Develop and monitor budgets, P&L and key performance metrics to achieve financial targets.
• Coach and develop talent through individual development plans and succession planning.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Engineering or Automotive; a postgraduate diploma in Business Management is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in an automotive after‑sales environment, preferably with distributor and OEM exposure.
• Proven experience in Kaizen, project management, supply‑chain planning, distribution and analytics.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, inventory and supply‑chain management principles, and Lean Production methodology.
