Primary Cover Teacher (Start Aug 2026)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Primary Cover Teacher to join Deira International School in August 2026. The successful candidate will provide high‑quality instruction across the primary curriculum, ensuring continuity of learning when regular teachers are absent.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons and adapt resources to meet the needs of a diverse classroom of students aged 3‑12.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment in line with the school’s KHDA standards.
• Assess student progress, record observations and communicate feedback to class teachers.
• Collaborate with the Primary Team to support the school’s holistic education approach.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school events as required.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed) and experience in primary education.
• Strong commitment to inclusive, student‑centred learning.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Flexibility to cover a range of year groups and subjects.
