About the role
GEMS Wellington Academy in Silicon Oasis is seeking an outstanding Primary Teacher to join its team from August 2027. The role involves delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based instruction to primary‑age students in an inclusive, high‑performing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons for primary students.
- Adapt learning to meet the diverse needs of all learners and support inclusive education.
- Collaborate with colleagues, share best practices, and contribute to the school’s extra‑curricular programme.
- Maintain high standards of student wellbeing and safeguarding.
Required profile
- Hold a BEd, Bachelor’s degree with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching in the primary phase with a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
- Demonstrated creativity, enthusiasm, and a growth mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with students, parents, and staff.
Required skills
- Evidence‑based teaching pedagogy.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students.
