Principal - Investments

About the role

The Principal will work closely with the CEO, President and CFO of a fast‑growing investment platform focused on carbon‑reduction projects. The role blends investment analysis, platform development, capital‑raising and business‑development activities, offering high ownership and exposure in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models, conduct market analysis and underwrite investment opportunities.
• Support deal sourcing, transaction execution, due‑diligence and preparation of investment memos and board materials.
• Prepare capital‑raising materials, track carbon‑market trends and develop investment viewpoints.
• Assist with platform initiatives such as carbon‑credit commercialization, stakeholder relationship management and AI‑driven operational improvements.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of analytical experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting or a Big‑Four firm.
• Exceptional analytical ability, meticulous attention to detail and strong commercial judgment.
• Self‑starter who can work independently, remotely and thrive in a fast‑changing, lean environment.
• Curious, collaborative team player eager to learn and adapt across shifting priorities.
