Procurement Buyer – Non‑Catalog Purchases

About the role
We are seeking a Procurement/Buyer professional to handle non‑catalog purchase requests across a range of SG&A expense categories. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost‑effective sourcing of services and goods.
Key responsibilities
- Manage non‑catalog purchase requests for professional services, IT assets, telecommunications, spare parts, MRO items, PPE and other indirect categories.
- Analyse purchasing history to identify recurring items that can be converted into catalog products or services.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal terms and pricing.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and ensure compliance with company policies.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of procurement or buying experience, preferably within the UAE.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative.
- Excellent negotiation capabilities.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and INDEX/MATCH functions.
