Procurement Consultant - Automotive Industry

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is hiring a full-time Procurement Consultant for the automotive industry in Dubai. The role covers developing procurement strategies, driving supplier excellence, improving processes, optimising costs and strengthening supplier partnerships, with particular focus on China and East Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies aligned to business objectives
• Maintain the supplier database and establish framework agreements
• Lead supplier audits, development and performance improvement
• Drive contract negotiations and cost savings initiatives
• Ensure ISO 9001:2015 procurement governance
• Handle risk management and continuity planning
• Run procurement data analytics and reporting
• Manage vendor quality approvals, validation and compliance governance
• Lead continuous improvement and supplier corrective actions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or Logistics
• 7+ years of procurement or supply chain management experience (automotive preferred)
• Strong exposure to the China / East Asia supplier ecosystem
• Understanding of GCC logistics preferred
